Douglas Muir Architect is a full-service architectural design practice located in South Brooklyn. The principal, Wm. Douglas Muir, has been licensed to practice architecture in New York State for over 25 years. He has extensive expertise in variety of market sectors. 

Prior to opening his own practice Doug was responsible for major institutional projects (healthcare, education, and cultural) in NYC; notably modernization and additions at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, a landmarked renovation at The City College of New York”, and the rejuvenation of “Lincoln Center” (Juilliard School & Alice Tully Hall). 

Originally from the Pacific North West, his work is imbued with a strong respect for light, air, and natural materials. Doug has been an advocate of sustainable design for decades.
